Hotel Tempelhof - City-Messe-Arena - Cologne

The hotel was conveniently located near several family-friendly restaurants and shops, made meal times easy for us. The continental breakfast was a good surprise with an excellent variety of fresh fruits and cheeses that the kids enjoyed. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

The rooms were airy and brand-new, had a shower, a hairdryer, and bath sheets.

I enjoyed great and comfy location and how the place is fairly clean. The staff were super-friendly and nice the whole time. The breakfast was freshly cooked, the check in was early. Also, I parked on site. Easy access to Koln/Bonn airport, which was about 20 minutes' drive away:)))

Decent breakfast but room cleanliness needs attention

Our room was a bit basic and it wasn't cleaned properly on the first day, which wasn't up to par. While the location is convenient, I do think the hotel could benefit from a touch more effort in maintaining the overall cleanliness of the space.

the breakfast is fresh made and satisfactory served with toast. the setting is particularly good and absolutely perfect, adjacent to the bridge, the christmas markets and also very close to restaurants, very quiet area.

Couple's good choice

The location was fab! A nice quiet neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and shops. The staff was friendly and helped us store our bags after checkout. A nice touch, really.

Not exactly cheap, but still acceptable for what you get.

Despite a few hiccups, I found the breakfast here enjoyable enough, even if it wasn't overflowing with sweet treats. The essential furniture catered well for my short stay, getting the basics right without unnecessary fluff.

The door to my room was thin, which impacted my sleep quality significantly. I also noticed the stairs could be a challenge for those with heavy luggage or mobility issues, which can put a damper on a visit. One particular aspect that could be improved is the overall cleanliness. I found dust in some hidden spots that shouldn't have been overlooked, suggesting a need for more thorough housekeeping. That said, it still functioned well for my stay, but those are definitely areas that could use addressing.
